A little boy by the name of Walter is born in a small townsfolk in West Virginia. Soon he finds by he is destined for much greater things. Walters mother dies tercet years after his birth and, his father was too poor people to raise him so, he was put into foster care. His foster parents lived in an African-American community in New York City. Walter describes much of his tone as upbeat and happy he plays basketball and loves to register books. Walter also had a speech impediment that made things uncontrollable for him. Walter soon begins to write, short stories and poems because he is unable to reach out to others verbally. Once he reached high school he became so overwhelmed and frustrated that he dropped out.
Walter teaches himself to read and write and soon begins to deal his place in the world. Walter discoveries this whole new world dear of monstrositys and angels. Then he discoveries his destiny as a demon destroyer. He finds out his parents were demon hunters as well wherefore he finds out about their dark secrets.
His mom, Evelyn, decides that she doesnt sine qua non Walter to have anything to do with the demon world so, she gave him up for betrothal then she was later killed by a demon face at for Walter. But what she doesnt know is that Walter must fulfill this destiny. He fights many battles to get to the golden sword of angels. This is only the firstborn book of the series and at the end of this book he finds out his father is still alive and is still looking for him.
I enjoyed this book actually much because Ive eternally liked reading about worlds that are different than ours. It gets my thought away from things.
