I liked whole the characters and the main and sub plots. I liked e verything but the end. I would rewrite somethings here and thither but overall it was a very good book. I liked when Tim tricked the cowboys into withdrawing there was going to be an ambush. I conceive that was very promising of him. I also liked when Sam was coming basis to shrink Brown Bess from his dad. I do non approximate I could pull in ones horns done what he did. I consider he was very brave to fight against the British Empire. He could bring forrard died at any time. He must establish been invigorated too, if he went to Yale and he stayed alive so wide during the war. I did non like how the book ended. I think when Tim tried to rescue Sam it would work. Instead of running rarify and then dribble the bayonet he should behave c heck to see if Sam was in there and then plant him then disposed(p) it to Sam. I also didnt like when Tim recalled the letter for Mr. Heron. He should have listened to his father and should non have tried to deliver the letter. I think something bad would have go alonged if Betsy had not stopped him. It would have been cool to see what would happen if Tim would have looked at the letter himself and then told someone. I would not barrack this book to other Eighth Graders, unless they would like to learn much about the Revolutionary War.
